1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State, Mr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad.
2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The Investigating Officer of the case, in compliance of the order dated 27.08.2025, is present in the Court.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws of the deceased being brother and wife of the brother of the husband of the deceased. It is next submitted that being brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws of the deceased, they have been implicated in the instant case by the informant when they reside at Pune. It is also submitted that petitioner no. 5 resides at Lakhisarai for the studies of her children, but her husband i.e. petitioner no. 1 resides at Pune. It is further submitted that deceased was married to the brother of petitioner nos. 1, 2 and 3 and the FIR has been instituted by the father of the deceased implicating the entire family members with general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry, torture and killing of the deceased.
It is next submitted that informant is not an eye witness to the occurrence and the entire allegation hinges around suspicion. It is further submitted that though petitioners were at Pune at the time of occurrence, but in order to falsely implicate them, the informant in the FIR alleges that they were also present at the place of occurrence.
5. The Investigating Officer of the case, who is present in the Court along with the case diary, submits that during the course of investigation, it transpired that petitioners
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49077 of 2025(3) dt.08-09-2025 3/3 are residing at Pune and at the time of occurrence also they were at Pune. It is also submitted that the investigation which has been carried so far, the role of the petitioners in the occurrence has not surfaced.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and Investigating Officer of the case, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Halsi P.S. Case No. 64 of 2024 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the BNSS.
8. The personal appearance of the Investigating Officer of the case is dispensed with.
