1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024 dated 20.02.2024 registered under Sections 304-B/34 of the I.P.C.
3. As per the prosecution case the marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with the co-accused / Vikash Chaudhary on 05.03.2023. After marriage, the informant's daughter was being tortured physically and mentally by her inlaws and their family members due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It has come during the course of investigation that motorcycle was being demanded as dowry from the informant's daughter. On 19th February, 2024 the informant's daughter was killed by the petitioner and other accused persons
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49831 of 2024(2) dt.28-08-2024 2/3 knowledge of which was received by the informant through the neighbours in the morning of 20.02.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the younger brother-in-law of the deceased and has been made accused in the present case along with the husband, father-inlaw and mother-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner is a student of B.A. Part-I and has been studying in a private college at Varanasi. There is no specific allegation of demand of dowry against the petitioner. The husband of the deceased is in custody.

Regard being had to the submission made by the parties, taking into consideration the fact that petitioner is about 18-19 years of age, he is a student studying in Varanasi, there is no specific allegation against the petitioner and the husband of the deceased is in jail, as such, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Mohania (Kaimur) in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024 subject to
