In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 169 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 341, 342, 323, 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the driver of Nalanda Travels lodged an F.I.R. stating therein that a bus bearing Registration no. BR 21GA 9099 was standing to go for Rajgir. In the meantime, the accused petitioner Rauky Kumar and accused Golu Kumar along with 4-5 unknown persons came and demanded Rs.500/- per day as Rangdari. When the driver showed his inability and asked to talk to the owner of the bus whereupon the petitioner Rauky Kumar took out pistol and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43270 of 2019(2) dt.15-07-2019 2/2 pulled the driver from his seat and started assaulting him due to which he sustained injury at his nose and blood started oozing from his nose and he became unconscious. The petitioner has criminal history.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
