1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. For transfer of the license of the Gun shop M/s Suresh and Company Arms, Ammunition Dealer and Repairing at Motijheel Muzaffarpur to the name of petitioner.

ii. For issuance of direction to the respondents to transfer of the license of the Gun shop M/s Suresh and Company Arms, Ammunition Dealer and Repairing at Motijheel Muzaffarpur to the name of petitioner.

iii. For directing the respondent authority to pay the compensation for not issuing the license of the shop as which was the single source of income of the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner, for the aforesaid purposes, on 01.01.2021, within a stipulated time frame, preferably, within a period of six weeks from today. It is directed accordingly.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
