The petitioner is in custody in connection with Medni Chowki P.S. Case No. 05 of 2019 for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in the commission of loot at gun point. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.01.2019. He further submits that no incriminating article was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the name of the petitioner surfaced in the instant case on the confessional statement of co-accused.
