The petitioner claims himself as the elected Secretary of the Trust called 'Maa Chandi Maharani Mandir Sewayat Samiti (for short 'the Sewayat Samiti'), Ganjipaita situated in the district of Saharsa. It is stated that several pieces of land was/were donated by the daughter of the ex-landlord to the Sewayat Samiti inasmuch as the continuous khatiyan of the land also runs in the name of the Sewayat Samiti. On a portion of the land (plot no.47), a government school called Chandi High School, Chandi Asthan at Biratpur exists since last several years. The petitioner wants a change in the name of the place of the school to be read as Chandi High School,Chandi Asthan, Ganjipaita in place of Biratpur. The respondent State has objected to

Patna High Court CWJC No.18818 of 2013 dt.23-06-2016 2/2 grant of application contending that the petitioner has no locus to make any such application. Any such change in the name or place of the school can be considered by the State Government.

Without expressing any view on the merit of the claim of the petitioner, the writ application stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a representation for such minor change in the name and place of the school in question before the Director, Secondary Education, Govt. of Bihar (respondent no.3) for consideration and disposal in accordance with law at an early date.
