2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Buniyadganj P.S. Case No. 384 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 386, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has been found involved in demanding extortion from the different business man in Gaya.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 31.10.2024 and he is accused in 8 more cases of similar and serious nature.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no material against the petitioner to connection the petitioner with the crime.

6. Learned APP for the State opposes the application of the petitioner for grant of bail and has submitted that from the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45054 of 2025(2) dt.30-07-2025 2/2 FIR, it appears that the business men of Gaya were so afraid from the gang demanding extortion, of which the petitioner was also a member, that they did not want to give their names to the police.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
