The petitioner is in custody since 02.05.2023 in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 147/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/323/307/387/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, extortion was demanded from the informant by the accused persons. The petitioner is one of the accused persons who has demanded extortion. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to local politics. However, learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the bail application. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail after completing six months in custody, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Buxar, in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 147/2023.
