JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 21-12-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the tender notice published in daily newspaper dated 29.07.2015 by the Dsitrict Mid-Day Meal Scheme, Saran whereby the tenders have been invited for appointment of contractors in five Blocks of Saran District including the Taraiya Block for the financial year 2015-16; and for connected reliefs.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has become infructuous by efflux of time as the period of contract was for the financial year 2015-16 and the writ petition need not be pressed.

3. The writ petition accordingly stands dismissed.

4. It is made clear that the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the respondent authorities for refund of bank guarantee and security deposit by filing a representation within a period of three weeks from today. If any such representation is filed within the stipulated period, the same shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law, after grant of an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
