2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State.

3. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S. Case No. 85 of 2023 dated 11.04.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 341, 323, 354B, 420, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. As per the prosecution case, the informant's daughter demanded Rs. 4,00,000/- from the petitioner which

No.46420 of 2023(2) dt.02-08-2023 2/3 was taken by the father of the petitioner from the informant on pretext of providing job to her daughter but after lapse of one year, the petitioner's father did not provide job. Thereafter, the petitioner with bad intention molested the informant's daughter and threatened to lift her to perform marriage with her. When the informant went to the house of the accused to make complain, the accused persons abused and assaulted her and threatened to kill her son.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is land dispute between the parties. It is further submitted that the allegation of taking money is against the coaccused Satan Choudhary. The petitioner is accused in one criminal case as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 26.04.2023.

6. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court
