Petitioner is accused in connection with Mahila Patna P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019 registered under Section 376 of the I.P.C. and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected on merit by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 76711 of 2019 on 18.03.2020 (Anenxure-2). Further, the fresh ground of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody since 28.07.2019. On perusal of report, as called for from the Additional District and Sessions Judge-VI, it appears that charge has already been framed and due to Covid Pandemic, the case is pending for evidence of the witnesses.
