2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 292 of 2024 dated 27.04.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 354B, 354A, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the co-accused Sumit Ranjan is alleged to have molested the minor students of the school and the petitioner, who was the principal of the school, was also implicated in the case and Sumit also threatened to lodge a case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The occurrence took place on 05.03.2024 but the complaint was lodged on 30.03.2024 and there is a delay of 25 days in lodging the complaint. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 20.06.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-7th-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 292 of 2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
