The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Goraul P.S. Case no. 75 of 2016, registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing of the daughter of the informant by her husband and other in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and to dispose of the dead body. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he used to reside at Kanpur in connection with his job and he has falsely been implicated in this case by the informant without any specific overt act. Moreover, Dilip Ram, husband of the deceased, is in custody. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,
