Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defects within four weeks.
Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence punishable u/s 498 (A), 504, 506, 313, 34 IPC and 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.
Petitioner is said to have assaulted and tortured the informant for demand of dowry and when she conceived, they after deceiving her determined sex of the fetus and terminated her pregnancy. Thereafter, petitioner left her to her 'Maike'. Vide order dated 11.05.2022, the matter was sent to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55519 of 2021(4) dt.09-11-2022 2/2 Mediation Centre and as per Mediation Report at Flag 'M', the dispute between the parties has been resolved, the terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by them is attached with the Mediation report.
The counsel for the petitioner handed over a demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/- bearing S.B.I. Demand Draft No.-739229 dated 18.10.2022 to the counsel for the opposite party No. 2 in the Court today.
Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Mahila P.S.
