Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following reliefs:- "(i) To issue an appropriate order/ orders, direction/directions including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondents concerned to make the payment

Patna High Court CWJC No.10970 of 2026 dt.27-07-2026 2/3 of Rs. 420000/ (Four lacks twenty thousand only) to the petitioner. who has discharged his duties as a legal expert in the office of respondents No- 5 from the period of 30.04.2025 to 30.04.2026.

ii) To the direction respondents concerned to make the payment of penal interest to the petitioner on the above mentioned admitted dues indicated above.

iii) To any other relief/reliefs to which the petitioner may be found entitled in the facts and circumstance in the case."

3. Learned Counsel for the State has raised a preliminary objection with regard to maintainability of the present writ petition due to the reason that the appointment letter of the petitioner (Annexure P/02) has been issued by a private limited company.

4. In response thereof, Counsel for the petitioner submits that from Annexure P/1, it is apparent that the work was being taken by the Government Authorities from the petitioner.

5. Upon perusal of P/2, it transpires to this Court that the appointment of post of Legal Expert was made by a private limited company and the said annexure stipulates only terms of engagement and the place where the petitioner has been offer to engage.

6. Under the circumstances, the present writ petition stands disposed off granting liberty to the petitioner to

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
