Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Submission is that liquor was not recovered from possession of the petitioner, rather name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Bindalal Prasad. Petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2019. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43273 of 2019(2) dt.12-07-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Harshidhi Police Station Case No. 22 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
