The present petition has been filed for modifying the order dated 17.05.2023 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 1815 of 2023, whereby and whereunder though the petitioner had been directed to be enlarged on anticipatory bail subject to him surrendering before the learned court below within a period of six weeks but upon producing proof of deposit of a sum of Rs. 1,95,000/- with the Nazarat of the learned Civil Court, West Champaran at Bettiah, within a period of six weeks, however, it is submitted that on account of financial difficulty, the petitioner has not been able to deposit the said sum of Rs. 1,95,000/-, hence

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56215 of 2023(2) dt.01-09-2023 2/2 the petitioner be granted four weeks' further time for depositing the same.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner vide the aforesaid order dated 17.05.2023, by a further period of four weeks from today, for the purposes of deposit of a sum of Rs. 1,95,000/- with the Nazarat of the learned Civil Court, West Champaran at Bettiah and for surrendering before the learned court below for being admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail.

The present petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid modification in the order dated 17.05.2023 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 1815 of 2023.
