ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-08-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 23.04.2014 passed by the Ad hoc Additional Sessions Judge-II, Nawada in Criminal Appeal No. 20 of 2012/09 of 2012, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 23.04.2014 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Nawada in Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 130 of 1999 (Tr. No. 27 of 2011, Tr. No. 18 of 2012), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Sections 341, 323 and 354 IPC and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for one month, one year and two years and fine of Rs. 1,000/- respectively.
Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any merit in the Revision Application.
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.512 of 2014 dt.20-08-2015 However, in view of the period of custody and the date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.
With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the Application stands dismissed.
