The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ramnagar P. S. Case No.278 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.03.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

Allegation is of theft of motorcycle of the informant from the parking of Dr. A. B. Pandey where he had gone to consult the doctor.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no doubt, the motorcycle was recovered from his possession, but he

It is also submitted that the petitioner works in Kerala and had come to his village during Pandemic and as such, was not knowing the village much. Hence, had purchased the motorcycle from Ravi Ram.

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-1st, Bagaha, West Champaran in connection with Ramnagar P. S. Case No.278 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
