3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as counsel for the respondent - State.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner Amit Kumar was posted as Panchayat Secretary, while he was in his duties on 22.12.2023 due to accident he died. The petitioner being the wife of the deceased is entitled for compassionate appointment. Since, she is a lady having 31/2 years of child therefore she is unable to do any work

Patna High Court CWJC No.10350 of 2025(3) dt.11-07-2025 2/2 at Bhagalpur, therefore, she wishes that in her place her brotherin-law may be appointed, for which she made her representation vide letter dated 06.05.2024 and 10.07.2024, Annexure - P/3 series but, no decision has been taken till now by the concerned authorities. Therefore, it is prayed by him that the respondents may be directed to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner within any specific period fixed by this Court.

5. Learned counsel for the respondent - State do not opposes the prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner.

6. Taking into consideration the above submissions made by both the counsels, this writ petition is disposed of directing the concerned respondent to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner i.e. Annexure - P/3 series and pass a reasoned order as early as possible probably within 60 days from today in accordance with relevant rules and laws.

7. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
