The petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2023 in connection with Barachatti(Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 1126/2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is accused of killing the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion. He further submits that the name of the petitioner transpired in this case as he talked with the deceased on mobile phone.

However, learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the bail application. He further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46117 of 2023(2) dt.04-08-2023 2/2 submits that it has come during the investigation that the petitioner took the deceased in the Jungle and thereafter, killed her. It has come that earlier the petitioner had killed another person.

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner bail. It is accordingly, rejected for the present.
