2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mednichowki P.S. Case No. 124 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals have committed dacoity and looted Rs.72,000/- and a mobile phone from the petitioner after assaulting him. When the criminals were fleeing, the mobile phone of one of the criminals was left behind and during investigation the name of the petitioner has transpired. The petitioner is the owner of the mobile phone which was recovered from the place of occurrence. The petitioner is accused in one more case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the gravity of the offence and the fact that the mobile of the petitioner was recovered from the place of occurrence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
