2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No.07 of 2025, registered for the offence punishable under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

3. The case of the prosecution in short is that the petitioner took altogether Rs.60,000/- from the complainant for modification in revenue records.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and only

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45509 of 2025(3) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 allegation against this petitioner is that he has taken Rs.60,000/- from the complainant. The petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2025.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Vigilance Department has submitted that in this case chargesheet has been filed and he has got no objection, if the bail is granted after framing of charge. On being asked, it was informed that charge-sheet has been filed in this case in the fifth month of this year.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-V-Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhagalpur in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No.07 of 2025.
