The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 27 litres and 108.35 of country liquor was recovered on a raid being conducted from the house of Ashish Mandal and the petitioner who was hiding himself there was taken into custody.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that even from the FIR, no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession He is in custody since 28.8.2021 and has no criminal antecedent.
