In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sri Krishnapur P.S. Case No.207 of 2014, registered for the offence under Sections 467, 468, 419, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that in place of petitioner some other person has appeared in the qualifying examination for the post of constable as the report shows that the signature of the petitioner in all the documents submitted by him is different to the original one.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45515 of 2019(3) dt.24-07-2019 2/2 for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within three weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
