The petitioner is facing departmental proceedings after he was suspended in the month of January, 2019.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the Enquiry Officer has not yet submitted his report even when the proceedings are almost

A prayer therefore has been made that the departmental proceedings be concluded as expeditiously as possible for the reason that the petitioner has unnecessarily remained suspended for all this while. The Disciplinary Authority, who is the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra (respondent No. 2) is therefore directed to conclude the proceedings against the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which, it would be obligatory for the concerned respondent to pass necessary orders with respect to revocation of suspension.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
