The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Special Case No. 2891 of 2021 arising out of Digha P.S. Case No. 237 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that the petitioner is named in the first information report and he is having three criminal antecedents of same nature. Hence,

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the opposite party, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
