The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 343, 344, 346, 347, 384, 386, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, while the informant was sitting at his door, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including petitioners came and demanded Rs. One lakh, as extortion money, and threatened to kill informant's brother, who was in their custody, if extortion money is not paid to them. It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that informant/complainant is in habit of filing one-after-other false case against petitioners' side due to land dispute. There is delay

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46157 of 2022(2) dt.06-12-2022 2/2 of more than 2 months & 3 weeks in filing the complaint petitioner without there being any plausible explanation. Learned counsel for the complainant/informant vehemently opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as nature of accusation, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Siwan in connection with Darounda P.S. Case No. 307 of 2021, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
