2. The petitioners are seeking regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1078 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 32(3) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act 2016 (Amended Act 20182022).

3. As per allegation, at the tip off, the informant along with police personnel reached the place of occurrence and started vehicle checking. On seeing the police party, the accused persons tried to flee away. On chase, the petitioner was apprehended and 388.80 liters of illicit foreign liquor was recovered from the vehicle.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that the petitioners are neither owner nor driver of the seized vehicle. He has also submitted that the petitioners are the persons of clean antecedents and are under custody since 11.06.2024.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above-named, are directed to furnish bail bond after two months from today and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioners on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise Court No.-II, Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1078 of 2024, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioners shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make themselves available as and when required by the court.
