This petition has been filed for extension of period for surrender before the court of SDJM II, Biraul, Darbhanga in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case no. 99/2015. The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 20.12.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 42754/2016 but she was out of State and that was the reason, she could not surrender before the court below. It is also pointed out almost all accused persons have already been released on bail.

Taking note of the aforesaid submissions and keeping in mind that the petitioner is a woman, the order dated 20.12.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 42754/2016 stands modified to this extent that if the petitioner surrenders before the court below within four weeks from today, the concerned court shall pass appropriate order in the light of order dated 20.12.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 42754/2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25193 of 2017 (2) dt.21-06-2017 In the aforesaid manner, this modification petition stands disposed of.
