The case is registered under sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, in connection with Ram Nagar P.S. Case No. 137 of 2022.

As per the FIR, the marriage of the informant was solemnized with Nitish Kumar (son of the petitioner) and some amount was transferred to the bride groom side but later the matter turned ugly and the marriage was called off. As the petitioner failed to return the amount, the FIR was lodged. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mater has been amicably settled between the parties and the same has been signed in the presence officials of Mediation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47242 of 2022(2) dt.04-01-2023 2/2 Centre, West Champaran, Bettiah. A copy of the same has been provided to the Court showing the signature of the informant dated 16.11.2022.

Let the same be kept on record.

In view of the aforesaid developments that has taken place after the filing of the present petition, this Court is inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. If however, it is found that the document so provided before this Court is incorrect/wrong/forged, the anticipatory bail order shall become infructuous.

Let the petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bagaha, West Champaran, in connection with Ram Nagar P.S. Case No. 137 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
