The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Complaint Case No. 252C of 2015 instituted for the offence under Sections-406, 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged in the complaint petition that the complainant being collection agent, got deposited total amount of Rs. 8,88,162 from 231 persons in Koshi Central Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. which was a chit fund company, run by this petitioner and other accused persons. It is alleged that all the accused persons gave assurance to the persons of the locality to deposit money with promise to get 10% profit but after completion of the period, the amount along with the interest was not returned to the depositors and all the accused persons, including the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32767 of 2017 (2) dt.18-07-2017 2/2 petitioner misappropriated the deposit money. In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below and seek regular bail, which will be considered by the court below and disposed off same day in accordance with law on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order. (Sanjay Priya, J) A.K.V./- U T
