2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 38 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 64 of the B.N.S. and Sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have committed rape with the minor victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 06.02.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43672 of 2025(3) dt.03-09-2025 2/2 the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

8. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
