Perused the records.

The grievance of the petitioners is that following an appointment process initiated for filling up Group-D posts vide advertisement present at Annexure 1 issued under the signature of the District Magistrate, Jamui that a panel was prepared, an extract of which is present at Annexure 2 and in which the name of the petitioners appears at serial no. 1526 and 490 respectively. The grievance of the two petitioners is that this process has been left midway.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2639 of 2016 (2) dt.03-01-2018 Mr. Jitendra Kumar Pandey, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, has invited the attention of this Court to an order passed on a similar plea raised by an applicant Niranjan Singh in C.W.J.C.No. 2288/2016 to submit that the writ petition was disposed of vide order passed on 20.11.2017 with the direction to the District Magistrate, Jamui to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment against Group-D post pursuant to the panel prepared which exercise was to be carried out within a period of three months of the receipt/ production of a copy of the order. He prays for disposal of the present writ petition on similar terms.

Having heard Mr. Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners, and considering the grievance raised as well as the order passed in the case of Niranjan Singh (supra), I deem it proper to direct the District Magistrate, Jamui to consider the grievance of the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
