2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Allegation against this petitioner is of commission of assault to the complainant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Petitioner is father-in-law of the complainant.

5. It is submitted that thrust of accusation is against husband of the complainant. Allegation against the petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47015 of 2023(3) dt.25-09-2023 2/2 general and omnibus. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and is not concerned with the family affairs of the couple. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Complaint Case No. 92(C) of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
