2. Learned counsel for the State has assisted the Court.

3. The petitioner has moved the Court for payment of Provident Fund dues. By order dated 03.01.2018, the Court had directed the respondent no. 8 to file a personal affidavit with regard to actual payment of Provident Fund having been made to the petitioner. Pursuant thereto, counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent no. 8 on 12.01.2018 after service of copy on learned

The stand taken is that banker's cheque for an amount of Rs.99,322/- dated 28.12.2017 in favour of the petitioner has been received by her son on 02.01.2018. Copy of the banker's cheque and the receipt by the son of the petitioner have been made Annexure "D" to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no. 8.

4. As neither anybody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner today nor any rejoinder to the counter of respondent no. 8 has been filed, the Court can only presume that Provident Fund has been paid to the petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off.
