The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harinmar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2021, dated 09.08.2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 447, 427, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

An occurrence took place after a protest was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46321 of 2022(2) dt.25-11-2022 2/3 made by the informant for the buffalo of one Laxmi Patel have grazed his field.

It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that Dharmendra Patel and others including the petitioner assaulted the father of the informant, who had led the protest.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is not related with aforesaid Dharmendra Patel whose family members had perpetrated the assault. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is a young person, pursuing his studies and has been made accused in this case because of the village politics.

The petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2022 and does not have criminal antecedents.

One of the accused persons of this case, namely, Arbind Patel, has been granted anticipatory bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 28.07.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 4533 of 2022.

No.46321 of 2022(2) dt.25-11-2022 3/3 Considering the facts afore-stated, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Munger in connection with Harinmar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
