Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Banka Mahila P.S. Case No.44/2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 341, 323, 504, 506/34 of the IPC. Earlier, the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 07.04.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No.3659/2021. The petitioner has now filed this application for bail and vide order dated 06.10.2021, a report was called regarding the stage of trial.

In compliance thereof, a report kept at flag 'A' dated 21.10.2021 has been sent by the I/C-Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Banka, whereby it is submitted that the cognizance has been taken by the Sessions Court and the case has been

Considering the submissions made in the report, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners named above. The instant bail application is hereby dismissed. However, the learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year. If the trial is not concluded within this time, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) pallavi/- U T
