That by the present writ petition, the senior citizen petitioner craves indulgence before this Hon'ble court for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make payment of the salary of petitioner for the period of June 2014 and onwards till the date of final payment along with the appropriate interest upon the arrears and appropriate cost and compensation for

Let it be clarified that the salary of the petitioner has been illegally stopped from June, 2014 without any show cause, without any notice, without putting him under suspension or without initiating any departmental proceeding against him as yet. As such the claim of the petitioner is fit to be allowed with all arrears, current and consequential benefits."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
