A counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the University, in which it is stated that after shifting/rectification of date of promotion of teacher including the petitioners will be made from the State Government for payment of the same. Thereafter,

Patna High Court CWJC No.2910 of 2021(3) dt.02-07-2024 2/2 all the consequential benefits will be granted to the teachers including the petitioners.

Accordingly, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to file a detailed representation before the respondent no.3 within four weeks, along with a copy of this order and other documents in support of their claim and the respondent no.3 shall dispose of the representation of the petitioners within a period of six months by way of passing a speaking and reasoned order considering the cause for the difference of arrears of salary of the petitioners has occurred due to shifting of date of promotion.

It is made clear that the respondent no.3 shall be solely responsible for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.
