The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/ 148/420/467/468/427/471/384/389/120B/506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation against the present petitioner is that he was a witness to a forged sale-deed dated 26.12.2012 with regard to the land of the complainant which had been purchased by him vide registered sale-deed dated 06.05.1988 executed by the son of Liladhar Pandey and Lakhsmi Mishra. Since the petitioner had endorsed the signature of the executors of the subsequent saledeed, it has been alleged that the petitioner was also actively involved and part of the said offence.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27770 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 P2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and neither he is beneficiary of the sale-deed nor has he executed the same rather in bonafide and good faith has attested his signature to the said saledeed. Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest / surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 37 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Anjana Mishra, J) Saif/- U T
