The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Paroo P.S. Case No. 188 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 456, 467, 468, 471 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The gist of the allegation is that vigilance enquiry was held with regard to appointment of Panchayat teachers and it transpired that Birendra Kumar Sah, Sunil Kumar and Mohan Kumar got appointed on the basis of forged certificates of Madhyama.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had no knowledge about the forged certificate. The petitioner got admit card from one Nagendra Prasad who was running a centre and the petitioner appeared at the examination.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28926 of 2017 (3) dt.24-07-2017 The petitioner got his mark sheet on the basis of which he was appointed on the post of teachers but, it appears that on verification it transpired that Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Patna vide its Letter No. 215 informed the investigating officer that the mark sheet submitted by the petitioner along with his application form for appointment on the post of teacher was not issued by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Patna.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
