The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the death claim of the deceased son of petitioner namely Saurabh Kumar Sharma alias Golu against the policy no. 595978317, 595978319 and 595978747 who died on spot in a road accident near village Bechanpur Purva on the Buxer-Kochus Road.

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner invites reference to the letter dated 17.03.2016 issued by the Senior Divisional Manager, Patna (Annexure-5 to the supplementary affidavit) by which the claim of the petitioner has since been repudiated. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.13854 of 2015 dt.10-09-2018 2/2 petitioner has thereafter approached the Zonal Manager, (respondent No. 3), as advised, for redressal of her grievance in terms of her representation dated 19.04.2016 (Annexure-6). It is stated that the same has not yet been disposed of.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

5. Having regard to the nature of the grievance of the petitioner and with consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Zonal Manager, Patna Zone, Life Insurance of Corporation of India, Patna (respondent no. 3) to consider and dispose of the representation dated 19.04.2016 said to have been filed by the petitioner, if still pending, in accordance with law and after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner expeditiously and in any event within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
