2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No. 412 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-96/3(5) of the B.N.S. 2023.
3. According to FIR, the petitioner enticed away the daughter of the informant.
4. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that with the similar allegation, the informant had lodged an FIR three months prior to the present FIR i.e. Murliganj P.S. Case No. 301 of 2024 and in that case, the victim did not support the allegation in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr. P.C. In the present case also, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47956 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/2 victim did not support the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 183 BNSS.
5. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Madhepura in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No. 412 of 2024.
