It is admitted that up to date salary has been paid to the petitioner during the pendency of the writ petition and thus the grievance of the petitioner for which the present writ petition was filed has been redressed. However, by way of supplementary affidavit the petitioner has raised the grievance for payment of salary for the period from 1997 to 2000. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Munger who is required to make an inquiry in respect of factual aspect as to whether the petitioner has actually worked during the period for
Patna High Court CWJC No.18718 of 2015(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 which she is claiming salary after valid appointment. If it is found that appointment of the petitioner is valid and she has actually worked for the period in question, i.e. from 1997 to 2000, he shall take appropriate steps for payment of salary to the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
