2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 302, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr. Sunil Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant, that proceedings under Section 82 of Cr.P.C. has already been initiated against this petitioner and as such, this anticipatory bail application is not maintainable.

4. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of
