The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jehanabad (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 13 of 2016 registered for the offences under Sections 323, 498(A), 307, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. As per prosecution case, the petitioner happens to be Bhaisur of the informant. He and other co-accused persons tortured and assaulted the informant for dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence and he has falsely been implicated in the case. The petitioner has no

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18131 of 2017 (2) dt.14-06-2017 2/2 concern with the affairs of the husband of the informant. The other co-accused persons have been enlarged on bail by this Court vide order dated 16.03.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30033 of 2016.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 13 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
