2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No.86 of 2025 instituted under Sections 308(2), 351(2) and 61(2) of the B.N.S.

3. As per prosecution case, the accused persons including petitioner have given threatening to the informant for making payment of Rs.20 lakhs otherwise his son would be abducted.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics. Petitioner has agricultural land and the informant is doing illegal business of sand and tea garden and petitioner is opposing the said business on account of which only to make pressure the informant has lodged false case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46011 of 2025(2) dt.21-07-2025 2/2 against the petitioner. Petitioner has one criminal antecedent in which he is on bail. There is no material against the petitioner for the alleged threatening of extortion. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and the trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Kishanganj in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No.86 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
