The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is stated to have assaulted the informant with a Katta.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 16.3.2021 (Annexure 1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 40893 of 2020. The petitioner has remained in custody since 10.7.2020 and there is no chance of the trial concluding in the near future.

The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55314 of 2021(3) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 State who submits that the specific allegation against the petitioner is confirmed from the radiologist's report to the effect that the informant has fracture of frontal bone. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
