2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 130 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(A)(c), 21(c) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985.

3. Though there is recovery of 294 litres of cough syrup from the house of the petitioner but it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the room in question from which the recovery has been made was given on rent to one Sonu Kumar and the petitioner being the landlord has falsely been implicated and arrested. The petitioner is in jail since 03.05.2024 having clean antecedent.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50282 of 2024(2) dt.24-07-2024 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Sitamarhi/ concerned Court in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 130 of 2024.

6. The Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi is directed to take all steps for arrest of the main accused namely, Sonu Kumar.

7. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi, forthwith through FAX or e-mail for its compliance.
